What does a prayer for judgment look like on a background check??
My husband filed a false police report about 2 1/2 years ago. Someone stole something from his car and he lied about the location. He got caught, because obviously the investigator was intelligent and could tell he was lying. I told him not to lie! Anyway, this was his only "charge" on his record other than speeding tickets in the past. He got a prayer for judgment for a charge of "filing a false police report." The investigator ended up being someone I know, and he said he legally had to give him a ticket even though he did not want to. Now, my husband is interviewing to be a pastor at a church. He is a Christian who is honestly sorry for what he did, but he did mess up. The church is running a background check on him. Will this show up? The Air Force ran a background check (he is going to be a chaplain) and it had it on there but said "expunged." They accepted him, but I am thinking a small country church won't do so.
