Car insurance for 16 year old guy in wisconsin?

when I looked into it for my 17 yr old son it was $167 per month and he would be on our insurance using our cars...this was through State Farm. ask you parents to check with their insurance company frst...then go from there....to go on your own would be a big mistake...very high insurance rates.
